The Princess Bloggeries

Don’t they understand that when I sit and stare at them, I’m hungry? Even if I am not meowing constantly - it doesn’t mean that I won’t enjoy a treat! I got the idea that I should lose a pound or two but still … Yeah, I like yogurt - after all they’re raising me up as a Bulgarian cat following the Zone diet - but I need some kitty food to boost my energy too! Please, people, don’t let me become one of those anorexic cats that I see in catalogs.

I like to see movies that feature dance routines. Most of them may be considered chick flicks and the story is usually silly but they always make me feel good and inspired to learn a new dance, or just to get back into shape. So, my Top 12 (no ranking intended) would be:

Take the lead - Tango, baby!
Honey - the dream of every man alive (Jessica Alba) showing off her hip hop moves
Save the last dance - classical ballet meets hip hop
Flashdance - oldie but goldie
Strictly Ballroom - the Australian way of competing in Paso Doble - ole!
Moulin Rouge - Baz Luhrmann ruleZ again
Step up - nice dance routines
Dance with me - I wish I could dance like Vanessa Williams
Dirty Dancing - classic! I didn’t like the sequel at all
Center Stage - not a big ballet fan but liked it
The Company - another good ballet movie
Marilyn Hotchkiss Ballroom Dancing & Charm School - not a typical dance movie - independent, different and unique

My father would have had reached 58 years today! Happy birthday and rest in peace, dad, we miss you!
