Friday, June 23rd, 2006It’s been a while since we posted something here. To summarize the events - Petar finally graduated and the ceremony was boring for the spectators. The sound was horrible and only the graduates could hear the words of wisdom of the owner of Netflix. Well … it was primarily directed to them so we didn’t complain (a lot). We drowned our sorrow in champagne & fruits afterwards and had a nice brunch at MoMo’s in San Francisco. We made it to San Jose in time although heavy rain was pouring from the sky. Rumi, Nick & Katie and Emil were all able to catch their flights and land safely at home. It was nice that the whole family spent some together. It’s only a pity that Mayo was sick and couldn’t join us.
We celebrated a couple of times Petar’s graduation and he got a gift that requires us to drive to Napa and spend a weekend there (Thank You, Darren & Christie :-)). We have a gift certificate for Bouchon - a French restaurant in Yountville, CA . Of course, we won’t miss the wine tasting in the area …
Talking about wine … we got a wine cooler and now we drink regularly. It’s official - we’re wineaholics. Right now we are all in favour of white wine because it’s sooooo hot around here - red seems too heavy on the top of the heat in- & outside.
What else … we went to see Madonna live. The show was good; primarily songs from the new album but whoh are her dancers amazing!!!
Me & Myself are still without a job, waiting for Gudo or a job offer
