In 3 weeks we’ll be in Bulgaria … far far away from work and never ending chores at home. I can’t wait and I’m counting the days! we need to take some pictures of the new house and post them but we’ve become so lazy recently … it’s not even funny

We’re spending a nice evening at Nik’s place. Normal guests wouldn’t do that but we invited ourselves for dinner and a movie. So if you are friends or family, be aware that we sometimes do that. Nik welcomed us with Indian food and a bottle of Bulgarian wine. Thank you, Nik for quenching our hunger and our thirst!

Anyhoo, while the boys are using a boring laptop to write something, I’m sitting on the couch with the keyboard on my lap writing what you’re reading, and Nik’s gigantic TV is my monitor. Pretty cool! I’m happy we don’t have this luxuries at home or Petar won’t be able to force me to get out of home!

Fridays just can’t get happier days than they already are!

I finally received an update from my case. I guess the judge got confused about what I was really arguing and decided to just give me another chance. Even though I still remain guilty, I am scheduled for Great Comedians Traffic School next weekend – how fun! I had a chance for trying trial de novo – which includes a public appearance in court, but don’t really want to deal with this. My advice – obey the traffic law and don’t get pulled over.

So - it turns out, just as everyone said, that the Prius doesn’t do the advertised 60MPG in the city and 50MPG on the highway. What is does for us is 43-44MPG on a mixed driving - some city, some traffic jams, some freeway. It’s still twice what we used to get with the BMW!

Bummer - I got cited for a violation of CVC 22450 at the intersection of Derby and Warring in Berkeley. If I could tell you that I have driven that way countless times and have always considered that the stop sign at the right-turn lane northbound to Warring is a complete unnecessary one… Anyway, I was on the way to pick my degree certificate from UC Berkeley - how lucky am I ?:)

Anyway, after pleading not guilty, I now have a court case and am trying to get justice via a trial by declaration. Perhaps I should have given my declaration a second reading, but I guess I didn’t care much - I was telling the truth !

Don’t they understand that when I sit and stare at them, I’m hungry? Even if I am not meowing constantly - it doesn’t mean that I won’t enjoy a treat! I got the idea that I should lose a pound or two but still … Yeah, I like yogurt - after all they’re raising me up as a Bulgarian cat following the Zone diet - but I need some kitty food to boost my energy too! Please, people, don’t let me become one of those anorexic cats that I see in catalogs.

Hello again ! I am starting to study Japanese ! I have enrolled in the Japanese for Beginners class at De Anzа college and my first day is on September 25. I guess I couldn’t stay for more than a few months without going to school .. wish me luck !
